Hello Steelman Athletes,

As we prepare to "get back to racing" in 2021, Steelman Racing's goal is to make sure all athletes attending our events are aware of the Covid-19 guidelines. All guidelines established by the CDC and the Pennsylvania state government will be followed and enforced to ensure all attendees are in a safe racing environment.

For specific Covid-19 guidelines for each event, please click on the links below. Also, all attendees at our events will need to complete and submit a COVID-19 SCREENING FORM before they will be allowed to enter our events.

Dear Steelman Racing Athlete,

First, I hope all of you are doing well and staying safe during these difficult times. This year has presented everyone with more than their fair share of challenges, but we have all persevered through them to come out better and stronger on the other end. Just like you, the Steelman Racing events team was presented this year with many insurmountable obstacles that I truly thought would shut down any form of racing. But we hoped for the best, met and exceeded the "new norm" of racing safety protocols, and produced three races when no other events were being held. I cannot thank you enough for trusting the Steelman Racing team to put on safe events this past year, and I know you are going to love our 2021 Steelman Racing events schedule!

In 2021, Steelman Racing will be producing six awesome events from April to September. Our team has been working hard this fall to secure and finalize the plans for all of our established races, while also working to expand and offer new event options and locations. Our race schedule is set and we are so excited to share this announcement with you!

Hello Steelman Racing Athletes,

I hope you and your families are doing well and staying safe. After careful consideration, I have decided to reschedule both the Steelman Racing Open Water Classic and Steelman Racing Triathlon. The new date for the Steelman Racing Open Water Classic is August 9th, and the Steelman Racing Triathlon is September 27th, 2020. The health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, and surrounding community is my number one concern. Based on the current restrictions on large group gatherings, I believe this is the best action to take.

All athletes that are already registered for these events should have received a separate email with the transfer and deferment options for each race. Also, registrations for both events are STILL OPEN. These registrations will be closed as soon as the maximum number of athletes is reached for each event. Dear Steelman Athletes,

First and foremost, I hope you and your families are doing well and staying safe. After careful consideration, I have decided to cancel the Steelman Racing Nockamixon Swim Challenge on June 7th, 2020. The health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, and surrounding community is my number one concern, and based on the current restrictions on large group gatherings, I believe this is the best action to take.

Due to the cancellation, no more registration will be accepted for this event, and athletes already registered for the event will need to choose one of the four deferral options below by Monday June 1, 2020 by clicking here. All athletes will automatically be deferred to the 2021 event if no specific deferral option is chosen by this date. After the June 1st cut-off date, no other deferral options can be made.

To say this is an unprecedented situation is an understatement, and your patience and understanding during the processing of the deferments is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions or concerns related to cancellation or deferment options, please let me know, otherwise I look forward to seeing everyone at the races.
